He represents institution and organized religion which is known for its ability to be unwavering. This is at his worst aspect. Also he can represent, when out of balance a need to show off or present a face for the world, just as the pope of today might with his rings, garments and expensive shoes.
‘Know thyself’ Is his message. Examine the limited outdated modes of habit and surrender them to a higher more pure way of living.
