the emperor

theemperor1The emperor.

The masculine of the tarot, the left brain in form.

He is the ‘construct’, yet also the construct is only as strong as it ability to adhered to the universal laws that start in the more subtle and spiritual realms. So although this is an earthly card it has its roots firmly in the flow of universal law.

being as he is the fourth he offers stability. As I mentioned before he is the construct… we have the point the line, the triangle and now the square, so now we can build! …
For this reason this card can also symbolize a new way of doing things.
To me as a card he always seems to mean the man to my woman… or because I often sit more with the high priestess rather than the empress he can signify father, brother or son.
